Welcome to The Himalayan

Adventure with reverence for the mountains.

The Himalayan is a community committed to responsible exploration, environmental awareness, and supporting local communities. Founded by a group of dedicated adventurers and environmentalists, we believe in the power of adventure to transform lives.

We have highly experienced mountaineers in our fold, including Everesters Debraj Dutta and Chetna Sahoo, and veteran mountaineer AVM (Retd) Apurba Kumar Bhattacharyya, ex-Principal of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi.

Conservation Projects

Protecting fragile ecosystems.

The Himalayan is deeply committed to protecting the fragile ecosystems of the Himalayas. Our conservation projects include tree plantation drives — such as those conducted in memory of Meher H. Mehta — as well as regular clean-up campaigns on trekking routes and at base camps.

We collaborate with local communities and organizations to promote sustainable tourism and environmental awareness.
